Apollo Devices and App Compatibility

Start with the device you have. Use the matching Apollo guide before installing an app or buying replacement hardware.

Choose Your Setup

  • Fire TV / Firestick running Fire OS: follow the Fire TV guide for the Apollo app. Check the operating system because some newer Fire TV products use Vega instead.
  • Google TV / Android TV: use Startup Show TV. This includes supported NVIDIA Shield, onn., Google TV Streamer, and Chromecast with Google TV devices.
  • Android phone / tablet: use the mobile Startup Show app.
  • Apple TV: use Playberry or Startup Show from its App Store.
  • iPhone / iPad: use Playberry or Startup Show; Flex IPTV is another M3U option with different system requirements.
  • Windows / Mac: start with the Apollo web player. VLC is a separate desktop M3U option.
  • TiviMate or Kodi: use the Apollo-specific M3U or Kodi guide, not a BrightVision / NexTV panel setup.

What Matters When Choosing Hardware

  • Compatible operating system: confirm the exact app is available or that the supported installation method works on that model. A familiar product name alone is not enough.
  • Current software: choose a device still receiving updates and able to run the player’s current release. Device age by itself is not a compatibility test.
  • Video decoding: hardware support for the formats you watch, including HEVC / H.265 when needed, helps avoid decoding problems.
  • Connection quality: use stable Wi-Fi or Ethernet where available. A fast internet plan does not guarantee a strong signal at the television.
  • Storage and performance: leave room for updates and guide data. Higher-resolution viewing and multi-screen need more resources.

For Fire TV, check the specific model and OS before purchase. “4K” in the name does not guarantee Fire OS or Android APK support.

Apple Compatibility

At this review, Playberry and Startup Show require iOS / iPadOS / tvOS 18 or later. Flex IPTV lists iOS / iPadOS 17.4 and tvOS 26. Always check the app’s live App Store compatibility section before downloading or purchasing.

An Apple TV box with an App Store is different from the Apple TV streaming app built into a television. Installing that streaming app does not add an Apple TV app store to the television.

Devices and Login Types Outside These Instructions

  • Roku: these guides do not establish a supported Apollo Roku player. A Roku app advertising IPTV or Xtream login is not confirmation that it accepts your Apollo service. Use a supported external streaming device or ask IP Support before paying for an app.
  • Samsung / LG smart-TV apps: availability changes by model and region. Some player developers now list these platforms, but that alone does not confirm Apollo compatibility. Ask IP Support about the exact television and app before purchasing. A compatible external streamer is another option.
  • Older Chromecast / Chromecast Ultra: these are cast receivers, not Google TV devices with installable TV apps. Casting support depends on both the sending app and receiver.
  • MAG / MAC activation, Stalker portals, or Xtream-only apps: the supplied Apollo service instructions use email/password or M3U links. Do not substitute BrightVision or NexTV server information.
  • Vega OS Fire TV devices: Android APK instructions do not apply. Do not assume Downloader or a model with “4K” in its name makes an Android package compatible.

Before Buying an App or a New Device

Check the exact model, operating system, app listing, and login type. If you are unsure, send IP Support the device model and a link or screenshot of the app listing before you purchase.

A player purchase does not include Apollo service, and installing more apps or devices does not increase your simultaneous streaming allowance.

Need Help Getting Connected?

First confirm your subscription is active and recheck the login or M3U entry. Tell IP Support which device and app you are using, what you selected, and the exact error.

Open the troubleshooting tool in the same browser where you are signed in to your IP Support account, then select your Apollo service. Check the available service status. If visitor mode appears, sign in to the Client Area and reopen the tool.

For a browser playback comparison, stop the TV or app stream first and stop the browser stream when finished. A working browser test is useful evidence; it does not prove that every TV app or movie will work.

Contact IP Support

Include results or a screenshot with the error visible. Hide passwords, complete M3U URLs, and login QR codes.
