APOLLO GROUP TV How Many Devices Can Be Used at Once?Your Apollo subscription allows up to 5 active streams at the same time. You can install compatible apps on more than five devices; the limit applies to simultaneous streaming. There is also a network limit. Stay within both the stream allowance and the number of internet connections allowed below. |

Your Streaming Allowance
Simple ExamplesAt home: Three TVs and two phones streaming through the same home internet connection use 5 streams on 1 network. USA, Canada, or Mexico: Four streams at home plus one family member watching on mobile data use 5 streams across 2 networks. This fits the allowance. Outside those three countries: Stop all home streams before watching through a different connection at work or on the go. Streaming at home and on mobile data simultaneously would use two networks. You are not permanently tied to one home IP address. You can change locations, but the simultaneous network and stream limits still apply. |
What Counts as a Stream?
Stop playback when you finish. Turning off the TV screen or returning to the device home screen may leave a streaming app running. |
Wi-Fi, Mobile Data, and VPNsDevices using the same home internet connection normally share a public IP address. Home Wi-Fi and a wired Ethernet connection through the same router are normally part of the same network. A phone using mobile data has a different connection from the home Wi-Fi. A VPN can also change the public IP address seen by Apollo. Separate VPN connections may appear as different networks even when the devices are in the same house. A VPN does not increase your allowance. If you receive a network-limit message, tell IP Support which devices use a VPN and which use the normal home connection. Keep the connection stable while testing. |

Adding or Replacing a DeviceInstall the supported app on your new device and sign in with your current Apollo service details. You do not need to remove another installation simply because you have already installed the app on five devices. You also do not need to contact support just to install an app on another device. Stop an existing stream first if all five connections are already in use.
Using someone else’s device temporarily? Stop playback and sign out when finished. Remove the saved Apollo account or playlist and turn off any remember-login option available in that app. |
Seeing “Device Limit Reached” or “Too Many Connections”?
Simply scrolling a guide without playback is different from starting channels or live previews. There is no guaranteed session-reset countdown. Reinstalling the app does not increase your connection allowance. |
Lost Device or Unwanted Account Use?Contact IP Support promptly so we can help secure your Apollo service login and review unwanted access. You can also change your IP Support account password. Do not assume a website password change immediately ends every active stream. Ask support to confirm the service-password and session-reset steps for your account. If your Apollo service password changes, update it on the devices you keep using. In Startup Show or another M3U player, update the saved M3U link to contain the current service details. |
Need More Than Five Streams?More than five simultaneous streams require an additional Apollo account using a different email address. Contact IP Support for help arranging the additional account. Each account has its own stream and network limits. Using fewer than five connections does not reduce the subscription price. You do not need another account just to install the app on additional devices. |
Use the IP Support Tool for a Clear Comparison
The tool helps compare playback and service status. It does not automatically clear a connection-limit error or provide a confirmed list of every active device. Keep error messages visible in screenshots, but hide passwords, full M3U URLs, and login QR codes.
